The Music and the Vibe
Light qualifies as one of the top Hip Hop clubs in Sin City, so you will love the music scene if that is your party. You can expect an occasional big hitter such as Rick Ross or Lil Baby usually around a holiday weekend like Memorial Day. We are more tech house music fans, so we enjoy some of the famous artist's nights. The atmosphere is always festive and relaxed.
Location
The club is easy to find; it's located on the south end of the Vegas Strip inside Mandalay Bay. Once inside, follow the signs for the club; entry is in the mall area near the parking garage. If you get a chance, while you're there, check out the Foundation Room and Skyfall at the Delano. Both have stunning views of The Strip.
About Light
Light is an upscale, multi-level club. Spanning 38,000 sq. ft., this venue combines great music; talented DJs; the largest LED screens on The Strip; lighting, sound, and special effects; and Cirque du Soleil style acrobatics. The sound system is impressive, the dance floor is large, and the headlining DJ or artist will perform in the center of the club. If the main room gets overwhelming, you can venture to the back of the club. This area around the bars is a bit more "loungey." Truly, the only negative issue we see is that they have a hard time filling the room on some nights. The club is massive and can hold thousands! In Las Vegas, the clubs are large, and they need people to fill them. One of the techniques they use to entice ladies to join the party is to offer them FREE entry via the guest list. Although the list is typically FREE for ladies, we recommend arriving early to avoid a long wait unless there is a concert, then you will need to buy tickets.

When they have a popular artist, Fridays and Saturdays will usually have a hefty cover. For men, you can expect $30 to $75+ each, and ladies usually $20-$50+ each. Get on the guest list for:

Light Dress Code
Every nightclub, beach club, and ultra-lounge in Vegas enforces a strict dress code. The last thing you want is to be turned away for inappropriate attire while your better-dressed BFFs and buddies are welcomed in.
