Las Vegas Strip Club Dress Code
Las Vegas Strip clubs are no longer seedy, sleazy back alley titty bars. Today, the modern gentlemen's clubs are classy, upscale, and part of a highly competitive billion-dollar industry. Not only do these clubs have a brand image to uphold, but they have a reputation for attracting beautiful people. While every club's goal is to deliver an unparalleled experience for their guests, each club has a set of standards that require their clientele to dress a certain way, which is why enforced dress codes are put in place at every Las Vegas nightclub.
Contrary to popular belief, "anything goes in Vegas" is no longer the norm! While each club may differ slightly on the specifics, the rule is simple; if you want to get in, you must dress appropriately. At the risk of overusing a worn-out cliche, albeit still important, always "dress to impress." Business casual, upscale casual, black tie, cocktail attire, or formal attire is always a plus and preferred, but dresses, skirts, and tops that are too short, too low, and too revealing probably won't get you past the door. Make sure you know what to wear to a strip club, because you only get one chance to make a good first impression!
Note: it is important to mention that even if you adhere to the club's dress code policy, Las Vegas security or the bouncer at the door has the final call!
Most items on the "what not to wear list" should be a given, but we spelled it out in detail because we don't want any confusion or gray areas.
Whether you realize it or not, you are often judged by the shoes you wear. In a club, open-toe shoes, sandals, sneakers, flip flops, shoes with spikes, Timberlands, and work boots will not get you in the door.
Don't dress like you're going to a local dive bar or to work out at the gym. Shorts, capris, baggy, saggy, ripped, loose, torn, or cut clothing, "wife-beater" T-shirts, plain white T-shirts, graphic T-shirts, tank tops, hats, caps, do-rags, bandanas, jerseys, athletic gear, and sweatpants/jogging outfits are not permitted. In the summer months some of the gentleman’s clubs allow shorts, just ask us…
Sexualized clothing, gang apparel, clothing that promotes violence, brands, or a competitor's name and logo are prohibited.
Outrageous hairdos, an overabundance of makeup, and excessive chains and jewelry will leave you outside looking in. A good rule of thumb – less is more!
