Top 10 Las Vegas Nightclubs for 2021
The Covid Crisis
Beyond the spread of the disease itself, Las Vegas has endured some of the worst economic conditions and adverse effects from the COVID-19 Pandemic. On March 17, 2020, the entire city came to an abrupt halt – it looked like the end of the world – the once vibrant and bustling Las Vegas Strip was empty, and all the casino properties were closed for 78 days, which harshly affected the entertainment, hospitality, and nightlife industries. Everyone living in Las Vegas has been impacted by the drastic drop in tourism, the state-ordered mandates, closures, and new rules that have been put into place.
Due to the surge of the Coronavirus cases back in November, we are still in the midst of a "statewide pause" – meaning, venue capacities are limited to 25% capacity, and while this continues to impact the city, as we head into the one-year anniversary of the Pandemic, and as we approach the 2021 summer season, there are some signs that things are starting to go back to "normal." All the Strip Casinos are open again, albeit some with weekday closures still in place. As for the nightclubs, many of the most popular nightclubs, including Omnia, Hakkasan, and Drai's Nightclub, still have not opened since the shutdown.
At the time of this writing, they haven't shown any signs of reopening. There are, however, a handful of options available at this time, but they are under a new set of directives from our governor – categorizing them as "lounges." This means that reservations are required for entry, and groups are capped at 6 people per table. There is no more general admission, guest list, or VIP Entry at the moment since the capacity of the venues has shrunk down to 25%, and to prevent congregating/gathering, the dance floors cannot be used. While this does make the clubs' overall environment and experience much different from the past, rest assured, you can still have a fantastic time partying at these clubs ("lounges").
Most asked questions about the "new normal" nightclubs:
Q. What Nightclubs are Open? At this time, XS Lounge, Marquee Lounge, Tao Lounge, Drai's After Hours Lounge, and Foundation Room are open with capacity restrictions. As time goes on, we hope more venues open up.
Q. Are masks required? Masks are required to be worn at all times unless actively eating or drinking at your table. Security will remind you to put your mask on if you do not comply.
Q. What DJs will be playing where? We don't know for sure; most likely, the days of mega DJ's headlining and getting paid exorbitant amounts of money are over. Resident/Local DJs will be headlining the available clubs for the foreseeable future.
Q. Will there be a guest list? We don't know for sure, but given what's going on with capacity restrictions, we don't think guest lists will come back until later this year.
Q. Are there still Club Crawls? We don't know for sure if these will return in 2021. Since General Admission, Guest List, and any other form of entries are not allowed without prior reservation, it will be a long road back until clubs are filled with thousands of party-goers again.
Q. Are there dance floors? At this time, all dance floors at all establishments are blocked off with additional tables, as our Governors' current mandates force clubs to become "lounges" and not dancing establishments.
Q. Are the nightclubs any good in a "new normal" Vegas? No! Not at all. The experience is watered down, and the distancing and mask rule heavily reduces social interactions, which is what made clubs so popular in the past. But life is what you make it, right?
Q. When should I plan a nightclub experience? Our Governor has taken a month-to-month approach when implementing his rules and mandates. He has had announcements on December 15th, January 15th, and February 15th. If you are planning a trip later in the summer, it is best to wait for 1-2 months before to see where the current rules stand.
Q. When will restrictions and mandates end? At this time, we do not know. The entire Vegas industry is at the mercy of Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak. As time progresses and we reach herd immunity with the mass vaccinations, restrictions will loosen, hopefully. However, at the time of this writing, February 14th, 2021 ❤️, we are dealing with a venue capacity of 25%.
Below we will delve into the best available options and the unknown future of some of Las Vegas's biggest club venues.
TOP 10 LIST of the Best 2021 Las Vegas Nightclubs
XS Nightclub (XS Lounge)
Number One on our Top 10 list of the Best Las Vegas Nightclubs for 2021 is XS Nightclub, and this should come as no surprise. XS Lounge, as it is now called in a COVID world, has consistently been one of the top-ranked clubs in the city over the better part of the last decade.
Description: This sprawling indoor/outdoor 40,000 sq. ft. venue is one of the most beautiful venues in the city. In days past, artists like Drake, The Chainsmokers, and Diplo consistently headlined the venue weekly and performed to massive crowds of thousands of party-goers from around the world. On Sundays during the summer months from May until October, the famous XS Nightswim pool parties were a staple; however, due to Covid, the entire club is more of a luxurious lounge atmosphere for the foreseeable future. XS still stands as one of the best places to make a VIP Reservation and enjoy both the luxurious interior and exterior of the venue lined with a state-of-the-art sound system and lighting systems.

#2 Zouk Nightclub
Coming in at Number 2 on our list is ZOUK Nightclub, which is still under construction. Being a brand-new mega-club puts ZOUK at the top of the most coveted nightclubs for 2021.
Description: One of the bright spots for 2021 and for the future of nightlife in Las Vegas will be the Resorts World Hotel & Casino. This brand new, built from the ground up, Mega-Resort will be the first major property on the Strip to open since the Cosmopolitan back in 2010. This 4.3 billion dollar resort will have 3,500 rooms, a 5,000-seat theater, and ZOUK – the newest Mega Club in the city. At 75,000 sq. ft., this nightclub will be combined with the brand-new AYU Dayclub.
We have no doubt this will quickly become a staple of the Las Vegas nightlife scene once they open. Although we do not have much information about the venue specifics, we know that the resort and subsequent clubs are scheduled to open during Summer 2021. Once they do open, we hope and pray that the mandates and restrictions at that point are lifted, or at least loosened, so that the new club can be experienced by the public without any restraints.
One of the first clubs to reopen after the initial Covid shutdown comes in at Number 3 on our list of Top Nightclubs for 2021. Marquee Nightclub is the crown jewel of the popular and affluent Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino. This indoor and outdoor venue has hosted legendary parties over the last decade and still stands as one of the most sought-after and in-demand venues in the city.
Description: Currently open as a lounge due to the COVID-19 mandates and restrictions, Marquee has a strict admission capacity. Gone are the days of free open bar wristbands for ladies every Friday and Saturday night from 10:30 pm – 11:30 pm to now where bottle service reservations are required for entry, groups are limited to 6 per table. If you have more people than that, you will need to purchase an additional table. We will have to wait and see if pre-Covid resident performers like Dash Berlin, DJ Vice, and DJ Mustard return to headline the venue. But in general, given the circumstances, Marquee does a great job of spacing the tables in this new normal, and its state-of-the-art sound system and laser lighting make for a fun environment.
Tao Nightclub stands tall as one of the original nightlife venues in Las Vegas. Known for its blend of contemporary Asian design and its combination of the Asian Bistro on the first level and the nightclub on the floors above, this makes TAO one of the most unique nightclubs in the city.
Description: TAO is also well-known as the most female-friendly club in Sin City. It caters and rewards women for coming to its venue by offering a free Open Bar Wristband from 10:30 pm-11:30 pm every Thursday-Saturday. However, this year, it is yet to be seen if this will make a comeback due to restrictions and mandates. TAO is another one of the few nightclubs that have been open throughout the reopening process operating under "lounge" rules. It is yet to be seen if the wild and crazy parties will come back at Tao in 2021, but in the meantime, you can still reserve a table with bottle service for a girl's night out or bachelorette party.
Encore Beach at Night
Description: Encore Beach Club at Night is one of the few night swim parties in Las Vegas. During the summer months – from May until September – the famous Encore Beach Club pool is open every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights for an epic swim party complete with inflatable pool toys, tons of splashing, and chart-topping DJs and entertainers.
In past years, artists like Diplo, Dillon Francis, and Flosstradamus headlined and played to thousands of pool-goers. It is yet to be seen how this club will operate in 2021, as Wynn Nightlife has not announced any reopening dates; however, we think it will be forced to comply with the capacity mandates and other restrictions as we recover from the Pandemic.

Drai's After Hours Lounge
Description: Drai's After Hours Lounge is the best Hip-Hop nightlife venue in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, its sister club, the much bigger and world-renowned Drai's Rooftop Nightclub, still has not reopened due to the Pandemic. The After Hours venue was typically a late-night spot that started around 1 am and didn't end until the early morning hours.
Due to the governor-enforced mandates, Drai's has shifted into a regular nightclub/lounge following safety protocols that include 6 ft. of distance between tables, a six-person limit, bottle service reservations are required for entry, and no dancing allowed. But don't let the mandates stop you; Drai's is a fabulous club located in the basement of The Cromwell Hotel & Casino known for its dimly-lit red lighting that makes it a mysterious, shadowy environment. Drai's After Hours Lounge is a must-visit!

The crowing "jewel" at the Aria Hotel & Casino – Jewel Nightclub – still has not reopened due to the Pandemic; however, we are optimistic that later in the summer, this venue will emerge as a lounge-type venue like the other clubs that are open. We hope Jewel returns to its former glory once the city returns to full normalcy.
Description: Coming in 7th place on our nightclub countdown, Jewel Nightclub is an intimately redesigned and remodeled two-story, 24,000 sq. ft. nightclub formerly known as Haze Nightclub. This modern and luxurious venue features an epic 360-degree movement wall of LED screens that twist and turn, displaying various lights and designs to accompany the DJ playing below it. A large dance floor is situated underneath the DJ Booth and is surrounded by many VIP tables available to reserve for bottle service. This high-energy nightclub plays a mixture of Top-40, EDM, and Hip-Hop music and, during normal times, has weekly performances by Lil Jon, O.T Genasis, and Tyga.
Chateau Nightclub at the Paris Hotel & Casino has not reopened due to the Pandemic. However, we are optimistic by summer, it will reopen as a lounge-type venue like the other open clubs in the city. We hope Chateau will eventually return to its full glory of the past once we return to full normalcy.
Description: One of the city's best value clubs is none other than Chateau Nightclub. With some of the city's most affordable bottle service pricing and some of the best bottle service deals, Chateau is the most bang for your buck club for a VIP Experience in sin city. Situated underneath the iconic Eiffel Tower Replica at the Paris Hotel & Casino, this outdoor venue offers breathtaking views of the Bellagio fountains and the Las Vegas strip. The high energy DJ's spin Top 40, EDM, and Hip-Hop hits throughout the night, while strobe lights, laser lights, and multiple confetti blasts set the tone for an epic club experience! Chateau is perfect for Bachelorette parties or girls' nights out on a budget while offering some of the best outdoor views of the Las Vegas Strip!
On the Record
On The Record Nightclub at the Park MGM Hotel & Casino. Due to the Pandemic, this nightclub has yet to reopen. When Las Vegas returns its new version of normal, we are hopeful that On The Record will reopen as a type of lounge like the other venues in the city.
Description: One of the newest clubs in Las Vegas, On The Record, is located at the newly remodeled smoke-free Park MGM Hotel & Casino (formerly the Monte Carlo). On The Record is a unique blend of nightlife and entertainment under one roof. Its exterior is themed like an old record store, and the interior walls are lined with classic tape decks. Featuring a live band and a DJ that mixes tunes from a classic Rolls Royce turned DJ booth.
There are karaoke rooms available to reserve, vintage pinball machines, and a retractable bar that opens as a stage with choreographed dancers, break-dancers, and surprise artists. Did we mention that it has a double-decker 1960s era London-style passenger bus on its patio with a DJ booth and full bar inside of it? On The Record also has a chic hidden Speakeasy record room bar where you choose a record from the collection on the wall and hand it to the bartender who will handcraft a cocktail based on your selection. Overall, On The Record is one of the more unique venues in the city, and it's a perfect spot for celebrating a Bachelorette Party or Girls Night out.
KAMU Karaoke Lounge
Description: One of the newest, most unique clubs that dared to open after the initial pandemic shutdown is located at The Palazzo Hotel & Casino. KAMU is a Karaoke bar with 40 different rooms available to reserve for singing, dancing, and your own personal nightclub. With a full touchscreen display and YouTube connectivity, each room packs a serious punch when it comes to sound.
To create the perfect environment for your party, laser lights, strobe lights, and microphones are at your disposal for you and your group to sing the night away. Each room is handcrafted, elegantly designed, and themed for a spectacular social media-friendly backdrop – perfect for photoshoots and sharing on Instagram. Add bottle service and mouthwatering menu items, and you've got yourself a full-service party!
Listed below are the clubs that are still closed due to the Pandemic. Unfortunately, we do not foresee them opening in the immediate 2021 future due to the COVID-19 health and safety regulations.
Normally, Omnia would rank Number One or at least in the top 3 of nightclubs in Las Vegas, but it is another casualty of the Pandemic. This venue hasn't opened its doors once since the initial shutdown. Unfortunately, we do not foresee it opening to its previous Main Room and Heart of Omnia glory this year with artists like Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix, and NERVO and many others performing.
There are rumors that the outdoor terrace may open with limited capacity and bottle reservations only sometime in March. If this happens, we can assist with any VIP reservations. As for the inside portions of Omnia, only time will tell if this legendary nightclub opens its doors with full crowds again.

Description: The Number One Hip-Hop nightclub in the world, Drai's has been a COVID casualty. The doors to this insane rooftop nightclub have not opened back up. In normal times, Drai's was the place to be for celebrities, athletes, and other party-goers to jam out to the best Hip-Hop and R&B music on the Strip and chart-topping performers like Future, 2 Chainz, Migos, Nelly, and Meek Mill and many more.
With its luxurious interior and dazzling pool deck – complete with an iconic view of the Las Vegas Strip and the Bellagio Fountains from 10 stories up – Drai's was one of the hottest clubs on the Strip Thursday thru Sunday night. When Las Vegas recovers from the economic fallout from Covid-19 and returns to some semblance of normalcy, we have no doubt that Drai's will once again reign supreme as the best Hip-Hop club in the city.

Hakkasan Nightclub at the MGM Grand is another Mega-Club casualty of the Pandemic. The doors to this 5-story club have not yet reopened since closing in March 2020.
During Normal Times, Hakkasan Nightclub was one of the most popular clubs in the city. With major artists like Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Cash Cash, and Zedd under residency and performing weekly, Hakkasan was world-renowned as an electronic dance music venue in Las Vegas.
Description: The venue itself is located at the MGM Grand and has five different mind-blowing levels – the lower-level Floors 1 and 2 serve as the location for Hakkasan Restaurant – the best Chinese restaurant in Las Vegas. One floor up on Level 3 is the Ling Ling Lounge and Ling Ling Club – known as the Hip-Hop Floor, and on the 4th and 5th Floors, you can find the main room, pavilion, and mezzanine.
Recently undergoing a massive multi-million dollar renovation, Hakkasan debuted the "Hakkasan Grid" in May 2019 above the main dance floor in its main room. This spectacular display of 57 flexible 4-foot light up sculptural triangles move vertically and horizontally and change colors in a dazzling display as the main DJ spins his set. We hope this spectacular venue returns soon to the Vegas nightlife circuit.
Best Rooftop Bars
Located 63 stories up at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino, the Foundation Room is a more casual rooftop venue.
Description: The terrace provides elegant views of the Las Vegas Strip on its open-air patio and has a restaurant on the same floor. In the main room, DJs spin Top-40 hits and classic tunes played throughout the venue. Bottle prices are quite affordable compared to the other nightclubs in the city. For bachelorette parties looking for a more laid back and relaxed atmosphere, combined with an incredible view of the Las Vegas Skyline at a reasonable price, then Bachelorette Vegas can assist with setting up your event.
Apex Social Club
APEX Social Club at the Palms Hotel & Casino is still closed due to the Pandemic. Keeping our fingers crossed that it opens back up later in the summer as a lounge-type venue like the other clubs that are open.
Description: In Normal Times, APEX Social Club was, in our opinion, one of the best rooftop clubs in the city. Nestled atop the 55th floor of the Palms, this 8,000 sq. ft. indoor/outdoor rooftop experience is one of the most elegant in the city, with plush couch seating, art sculptures worth millions of dollars, and an unparalleled panoramic city view. Apex was one of the favorites for bachelorette parties. We are eagerly awaiting the return of both the Palms Resort and APEX.
Legacy Club at Circa
While most of the attention on the nightclubs in Las Vegas is focused on the Strip, the original Vegas – a.k.a. on Fremont Street – hasn't had a new, built from the ground up property open up in more than 40 years until Circa Hotel & Casino opened to the public on October 28th, 2020. Circa has dramatically and forever changed the skyline of downtown Las Vegas
Description: The Legacy Club is on the 60th floor of this brand-new resort and serves as a swanky memento of the legends from Vegas past. Filled with art commemorating the titans who built the city, along with a mesmerizing display of 500, 2 oz gold bars, this swanky bar and lounge is perfect for a laid-back night out, offering seating with firepits on its balcony overlooking the Las Vegas Strip.
Expert mixologists handcraft high-end cocktails and delicious concoctions, but the main attraction is the unobstructed view of the city. The next time you are downtown on Fremont Street, be sure to check out this high-end rooftop lounge.
Located on top of the Hustler Gentleman's Club, Terrace Afterhours is an after-hours club with a stunning open-air balcony view of the Las Vegas Strip. This club often has DJs spin Tech-House and relaxing electronic music vibes until the sun comes up. Open only on Saturday nights, with plans to hopefully expand to Friday nights as well in 2021; the Terrace Afterhours club provides excellent prices on bottles and drinks.
Description: Terrace Afterhours is an excellent value for a club, but the view of the Strip as the sun comes up is unmatched as this is the only club that dares to stay open on weekends until the wee hours. If you like electronic house music and are looking for an after-hours spot with a great view, then check out the Terrace Afterhours during your next trip!
Voodoo Lounge at the Rio Hotel & Casino has not reopened due to the Pandemic. However, we are optimistic that it will eventually reopen as a lounge-type venue and take its rightful place in the Las Vegas nightlife scene.
Description: During normal times, Voodoo Lounge located on the 51st floor of the Rio Hotel & Casino, served as a nightclub, restaurant, and bar concept that opened back in 1997. No longer known for hosting large events, VooDoo is usually a starting point or ending point for many bachelorettes who take in the legendary Chippendales Show. The theater is conveniently located next door to VooDoo, and each show ticket includes admission to the VooDoo Lounge.
Description: While VooDoo has a DJ spinning Top 40, EDM, and Hip-Hop tunes throughout the evening and a spacious outdoor dance floor with a fantastic panoramic view of the city, it isn't as big of a party as it used to be. It's mainly a spot to stop in, have a quick drink or two, and take a group picture with the Strip as the backdrop. If you are in the neighborhood and want a stunning view and a great group picture, be sure to check out the VooDoo Lounge.
Skyfall at the Delano Hotel remains closed in the wake of the Pandemic, but we hope that sometime this summer, Skyfall will reopen as a lounge of sorts like the other venues that are open.
Description: Skyfall Lounge can be found on the 64th floor of the Delano Hotel. It provides exquisite views of the Las Vegas Strip. The bar and lounge are modernly designed with futuristic décor, and the main DJ is located above the main bar. Skyfall Lounge offers a laidback atmosphere for drinks, socializing, and celebrating. The sunset views, combined with its expert mixologist serving up high-end handcrafted beverages is a great way to start an evening out in Sin City with your ladies.

Should I buy tickets to get into a Vegas Club?
At the time of this writing, General Admission tickets are not being sold for the handful of venues that are open due to capacity restrictions and mandates that have been set in place. It is uncertain if admission or large crowds will be allowed in 2021. Only time will tell.
During normal times if bottle service is not an option for your group and you do not want to wait in long guest list lines or be forced to show up early to get into a club for free, buying a ticket secures your spot for entry into the club at your convenience.
How do I book Bottle Service?
At Bachelorette Vegas, we have an extensive history working with all the nightlife venues in the city. Since we do so much business, the clubs give us special bottle deals and lower minimums compared to what is advertised to the public.

What are the hours of Vegas Nightclubs?
Hours vary by venue, but typically clubs open at 10:30 pm and close around 4:00 am or later depending on if the crowd is still standing and, most importantly, spending money.
The headlining DJ or artist usually comes on around 1 am and plays an hour to two-hour sets.
Once the club closes, if you are still looking to keep the party going, there are a few after-hours venues like Terrace Afterhours and Drai's After Hours that are open until the sun rises over the Nevada Desert. Alternatively, if you and your girlfriends are open-minded and adventurous, check out one of Las Vegas's popular Strip Clubs.

Bachelorette Vegas Advice:
The future is uncertain for the Las Vegas dayclub and nightclub scene. Hopefully, we will all be able to congregate again soon – freely and safely – at these spectacular venues. The Pandemic has decimated the industry in Las Vegas and will likely make your trip this year significantly different than in years past. That doesn't mean you can't pop bottles or have a good time at one of the Vegas clubs in 2021. The protocols currently in place are there to protect you, your party, and everyone around you from the virus.
